Update on Henry who has psoriasis - A BIG THANK YOU for making a difference

Please pray with us for his medications and skin treatments. His family needs help as he is unable to work his farming job due to his condition. He is so poor and has no medical insurance or other means of income.

Brother Henry with psoriasis has been confined to the hospital due to high fever.

Please pray for him.

“Pastor Agsimon's brother Henry, who is our brother in the Lord, has contracted
a skin disease called psoriasis all over his body. He is poor and can not afford the medical
care needed for this illness.
He urgently needs medication and payment for
the doctor's consultation and hospital bills as the suffering seemingly is unbearable.
Please pray for his healing.”

News and Needs in the Philippines

Typhoon Hits Manila in the Philippines

TWENTY people were confirmed dead after Typhoon Conson ripped across the
Philippines, sweeping shanties into the sea and bringing the nation's
capital Manila to a standstill.

At least 12 people were crushed to death by trees, walls and other
objects, while most of the others drowned and one was electrocuted,
according to authorities.

Eleven fishermen also remained missing off the Bicol region southeast of
Manila, while three other people were unaccounted for south of the
capital after flooding swept away their shanties, according to the military.

If you can help our brethren in the Philippines, please put  “Philippine Typhoon” in the memo field

of your check or online gift.  Thank you!

More Flooding in the Philippines

Due to the intermittent rain for more than three weeks now,
the community living under the bridge has been flooded.
Some of the brethren lost their belongings as the river suddenly
swelled over the banks at the midnight hour. Please pray that God
will provide their basic needs such as food and clothing
as some of their earthly belongings have been swept away by the floodwaters.
May the Lord have mercy on them as some of them are looking for a
safer place to live. Due to the flood, their yards have been muddy for days
and this gives mosquitoes an opportunity for a breeding place.

So right now,
Dengue Fever is on  the rise in our city also, and not just in the slum
area communities. There are cases of our children in our congregation
becoming victims by the virus from mosquitoes.  We trust God that this widespread
illness will be stopped to protect the children from dying of this fever.

Sister Alma Patrimonio is still confined at the
hospital battling with
acute ulcer. Please pray with us for the needed medications. The doctor has given her
some urgently needed prescriptions, but they could not buy them because they do not have the money.

Please pray with us for the needed medications.

Brother Antonio in the Philippines has been suffering with ulcers and much pain and difficulty of
breathing. Please pray for this brother.

Update for baby Kiara in the Philippines

Baby Kiara is healed of the pneumonia but is on very sensitive care of her parents due to some delicate reactions to food allergy. Whatever her mom eats, the baby gets some reactions. She is out of the hospital but with heavy toll of debt, so the father has no other choice but to borrow money. Please pray for her complete healing, and for money for payment of the loan.

Five Month Old Baby Girl is on Oxygen - Hardly Breathing from Pneumonia

Please pray for Brother Arnel's daughter Kiara, who is 5 months old and has been hospitalized with pneumonia.          She can hardly breath and is on oxygen. Please pray for this little baby who lives in the Philippines.

Update on Angelito

Angelito's surgery has been canceled as of this time, since the day he was scheduled to

have surgery, he got a fever. Please pray for the health of this boy to prepare him for

the surgery.

“Angelito is a poor three year old orphan, and has a Cleft Palate.  He is under the care

of his elderly Christian Grandmother. We had brought him to a doctor and he will be

scheduled for surgery July 12th, 2010. Please pray for the success of the surgery.

We are praying for the provisions of the surgical and medical needs. As of now, he is

under medications for swollen and infected gums, and a cold. We ran out of the

Medicines, but we are believing that the Lord will provide.”  Pastor A.

Praise Reports

Our brother Alvin and his family, who used to live under
the bridge, have moved to a new shanty that we had built for him.
It is away from the river bank and on much safer, and higher ground in Calaanan.
There is another space there that we can build another shanty. We are
hoping that God will grant us this place to build another shanty.
Please pray with us.

Thank you very much for your kind help to our brother Henry who has psoriasis all over his body. His skin is getting better now and he is on the way to recovery, but he has a kidney infection, and needs medical attention for that as well.  We are praying for a miracle of healing for him. Please pray for him.  We are so happy for your kind assistance to him.  Pastor A.  (story below)
