Lepers together with their families

The Afflicted Need our Help
Continued
the people were often downcast, and shy, but now when we visit them each year, they are so happy to see us, and we rejoice together in the love of God expressed through our Savior Jesus Christ, and through His people. In the words of one Sister Satsavathi, one of the dear sisters at Tuni colony: “We used to have to go into the towns to beg; now we go into the towns to preach the gospel.”

These dear saints have great affliction in this life, but their hope is rightly set on Heaven where God Himself will “wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."  “No longer will there be any curse.” Revelation Chapters 21 and 22

Continued help is needed for these precious brethren. Last year a church donated graciously to begin construction on new homes for the lepers of Nidadovole. They are almost completed but still need permanent doors, windows, and plaster. They formerly lived in small huts. Help is needed to complete the new homes. A few years ago, a dear sister, and her church in Michigan, build the Nidadovole lepers a beautiful church at their colony.

The lepers of Rajahmundry live throughout the city and not in a colony. Pastor George is meeting with them monthly to build them up in Jesus Christ, provide a meal, and give them a financial gift to help them through the month. This is a great blessing to them. All of this translates into one word. Love. The love of God expressed through Jesus Christ and His people. This is why the lepers can smile and rejoice. They know they are loved. Would you join with us in loving our leper brethren. They love you very much, and are praying for you, and for America.
