My Testimony
First of all, I love to introduce myself as Rajesh Dathi, serving the Lord Jesus Christ as a Pastor in India. I was converted from an orthodox idol worshipping Hindu religion into the Christian faith. I am thankful to God for His calling.
After completing my college education, I had started an internet related business. I took a terrible loss, and ran into a lot of debt. I then started working for another internet business to no avail my troubles increased. I had no peace of mind, and suffered a lot. One day, upon seeing me at my worst, a Christian friend suggested that I talk to a pastor. They took me to their miracle center for prayers. But the prayer and Christian worship service there was very strange to me. It was the first time that I experienced and participated in Christian prayer and worship. However, I was automatically drawn to that style of worship. I became a regular attendant to all the worship services at the Miracle Center. One day, I felt so deeply moved to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. Immediately I testified it openly, and stopped worshipping other idol gods. I then received peace of mind from our great God. It was a big turning point in my life. It’s a joy! A great joy.
Sadly, my parents including all my family members were very angry at me, scolded me and even beat me for converting to the Christian faith. They also tried to force me into coming back to Hinduism, and when I said no, all of them would torture me severely, and then they finally threw me out of the house. But I thank God, all this helped me in other ways. I had become free to decide my own future. I dedicated my life to serving Christ and became an Evangelist. God also helped me to establish a small church with the help and guidance of the pastor that prayed with me at the Miracle Center. I am happy to testify that God is also using me to take care of some orphan children, to feed some hungry members in our Church and also some elderly widows. I help to distribute some food, rice, vegetables and financial help when it is available. Still I am trying my best to win more souls to God’s Kingdom. Please pray for our elderly widows. Please pray for me to continue as God’s faithful Servant as long as I live.
